Smartphones with the Best Wi-Fi Capabilities

With the price of everything, including smartphones, increasing over time, it can be expensive to sign up for a data plan with your wireless phone service. At the same time, many consumers prefer to have one of the great smartphones instead of a standard flip phone or feature phone, which is considered older technology. Fortunately, there are certain smartphones on the market that allow you to connect to the Internet via Wi-Fi.

Wi-Fi Direct is even included in Lumia phones I guess so as to change the behavior of a phone to convert into a Router. This really helps where there is an urgent need of internet connectivity and availability of Wi-Fi network is really low.
Sharing can be done in that, however that reminds me of a question that will this connection records the information exchanged during the session. More precisely, is it safe to perform financial transaction using this sharing?
