LG announces full HD G Pad 8.3 Tablet

Today, LG announced its latest Full HD G Pad 8.3 tablet flagship. This tablet is launched in direct competition to Google’s Nexus tablet series. Company released the teaser of tablet this Monday only. This tablet will be shown at IFA show in Berlin, Germany this year.

This is the first 8.3 inch full HD tablet by LG. tablet supports 1920 x 1200 Widescreen Ultra Extended Graphics Array LCD display with makes amazing pixel density of  273 PPI though it is less than Nexus 7 2013 model. Tablet runs on  Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box with LG’s propitiatory interface on the top but it will get Android 4.3 update soon. It has internal storage of 16GB  to store data.

Tablet is powered by Snapdragon 600 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz quad-core. Tablet performs the tasks with the help of 2GB of RAM. In case of camera it has 5 Mega Pixel shooter at rear while the secondary front camera is of 1.3 Mega pixels. Tablet takes it juice from 4600 mAh battery which does all the magic. Tablet is relatively thick with thickness of 8.3 mm only while it weighs about 338 grams.

Tablet also features various new features which were introduced in Optimus G2 which was released year this month. Tablet has feature named “KnockOn” which helps to wake up screen by two light taps while QSlide Multi tasking is another one. LG did introduced a new feature by which users of G2 will be able to send and receive messages directly on Tablet by simply pairing option.

LG G Pad 8.3 will come in two colors such as black and white. Though there is no official words on price but as we know tablet is in competition to Nexus 7 so price will also be near to it. G Pad 8.3 will go on sale in North America, Europe and Asia by October.
