In early 2000’s, an innovative technology has emerged and it has been named Bluetooth. It has allowed all phones to share documents with other devices. This technology exercises radio waves to transmit data and it uses the high frequencies that can go up to 2.4 GHz. The technology support connectivity from several places.
It is a communication channel used to send advertisements, promotional or informational, to cell phones via Bluetooth technology, where this type of access allowed by a short-range wireless connection, free and easy to use, connect a large number mobile devices such as phones.
What is Bluetooth?
Bluetooth is the common name for the IEEE 802.15.1 industry specification that defines a global wireless communication standard that transmits voice and data between devices using a radio frequency link secure, globally unlicensed short-range.
Open international standard for a technology that enables short-range wireless voice and data between computers and laptops, PDAs, cell phones, among others, through a band available globally and globally compatible. In other words is the possibility of communication between digital devices without using cables.
How far does it work?

Does It works on all phones?
Works with most GSM phones, in addition the platform is constantly updating new models.
How many messages can be sent simultaneously?
Allows 21 simultaneous connections, ie., identifies 21 different cell phones that are within the range of coverage and does so randomly, without repeating the message of the identified cell sent.
How does proximity marketing?
The user with the mobile device enters the coverage range of an active space, this happens when near an access point for Bluetooth Area RACSA.
The phone is detected by the access point.
Once the user receive message to your cellular device, you may opt to accept or reject the message received.
If after reviewing the user decides to accept the request, the access point sends a file with the message to the phone via Bluetooth. The user can open, save, forward and / or discard the received message in any case.
What if a user rejects a received message?
The system identifies when a mobile device, and it issues the message is rejected, the same system recognizes the rejection of the message and send it back to another randomly without repeating cell unit cell declined.
How do you measure the effectiveness of the service?
The system provides detailed statistics properly plotted on the exact amount of downloads, many cell phones were identified, how many downloaded the message and how many also shows a detail of cell phone types identified.

Another great thing bluetooth has enabled us to gain is the NFC (Near field communication) by which in near future we may be able to pay our daily expenses via cell phones, Just awesome 🙂
