Best Certified Email Notification Applications

Gone are the days when we all had just one email account. Life was much simpler then. With the multiple email accounts of today, monitoring them becomes difficult. In fact you may not even open an important email for days simply because you did not login to that account for some time.

Global Email Notification Apps
But you don’t need not worry. There are some great email notification applications that check in on your mailboxes regularly and inform you whenever you have a new email. This ensures that you read and respond to all your important email messages. Here are some of the best:

MultiMail Notifier 3

This is a user friendly email notifier that supports notifications from Gmail, Yahoo and MSN and from POP 3 based email services. The interface allows you to actually access your emails without logging in to every account.

ePrompter v2

This is one of the most popular email notifiers and it supports all the most popular free email services and the second rung providers like Netscape, Rediff, Mail.com and more. The setup is not very simple and the interface is not perfect, but it’s a very useful tool to monitor the accounts in lesser known email services.

QuickPeek

This program monitors only POP 3 based email accounts. It is simple, easy to handle and has limited functionality.

Chrysanth Email Notifier

This is again very simple and user friendly. It supports Gmail and POP 3 email services. It also offers some protection against spam, but you cannot use it as your main anti SPAM tool.

Pidgin (GAIM)

This is an open source messaging unifier, which can double up as an email notifier. This is a great utility for a comprehensive monitoring of your emails and messages of your many different email accounts.

RedNotify

This is a very complex, certified email service that includes options which inform you if the email you sent is read. You also get proof of having sent the mail. It has several plugins, tools and email shortcuts that are readily accessible and make your job easy.

E-mail Secure

This is a certified service that informs you when your email is read and furnishes proof of your sending the mail and of it being read. It enables you to control your messages without interfering with your usual workflow.

Pointofmail

This provides very comprehensive proof of receipt and reading service for emails. It is a certified utility and very easy to use. In addition to giving proof of reading and sending, it can also track attachments and, best of all, it allows you to alter or even delete messages you have sent. But working with this program can get a little tiresome. The recipient is not made aware that they are being watched.

BigString.com

Is also a certified service. It is a free service that allows you to modify and delete messages you have sent. But it doesn’t work so well with incoming email messages and it does not have many tools for organizing.

SpyPig

With this certified email notification service you can add small images to your outgoing emails which inform you when your messages have been read. The only problem is, the person receiving the email has to download this image for it to work. Therefore it’s not as reliable as the other utilities.

Confimax

Enables easy return receipts as soon as the recipient opens your mail. But it is not a very reliable service.

DidTheyReadIt

This is yet another certified notification service that allows you to know when your email was opened. But this does not inform the recipients that their actions are being tracked, so it could lead to some problems. They are not able to get out of the return receipt service.

Hi! Pausch – Thank you for sharing us your comment. For some people receiving lots of emails can get very annoying at times. And for some, it may be a disadvantage if you have multiple emails.

But if you are expecting a very important Email, and If you don’t have time to monitor all your email accounts, these apps can help you in monitoring them.
