Another month passed off … This tech blog was able to draw more than 25K visits during the month of August and as usual search engines sent the majority of traffic to this blog. The guest authors continued to contribute awesome posts this month too.

Lets move back to the traffic report
Bounce rate increased by 4% when compared to last month. I am thinking of some crazy ways to increase the user interaction on my blog. Official update about it will be soon over the blog.
Top Traffic Sources:
Search Engines constituted 82% of the total traffic where as Direct and Referrals constituted 11% and 6%

Nice stats you had for August. You are right Google Rocks. People have told me in the past you know there are other search engines out there. Absolutely, but none of them even come close to the traffic Google sends and your stats prove that. Good luck September maybe you will beat your August stats.

Congrats Salman. hoping it will grow more. But do work to reduce the bounce rate and average time on site.
I know when you get huge visits from Search engines then its becomes obvious that the bounce rate will be greater but still you need to try to reduce it.

It is really great that most of your traffic is coming in from search engines, that means you don’t have to rely on social media etc for traffic and you will have a steady stream of traffic for a long while as well.
